The Summer Meals program provides free lunch to children and teens ages 18 and under. Following congregate setting guidelines, spaces to eat the meals will be organized at each site.

The program will run from June 30th to August 29th. (sites will not operate on July 4th)

When school is out in the summer, a point of access to healthy meals for children and youth is off the table. Our summer meals program has been filling the gap for thirty years. With several sites across the city of Schenectady and neighboring towns, the program provides meals to hundreds of children and youth while providing an opportunity to spend time in community outdoors.
Thank you to our incredible volunteers, partners, and participants for making Summer Meals 2024 a success! This past summer, we distributed nearly 6,500 meals across 11 sites in Schenectady and Rotterdam, serving an average of 150 meals per day.
Join us again next summer as we work to ensure no child goes hungry. Together, we can continue making a lasting impact in our community.
